Au Gres, Michigan Speed Traps

Enforcement officer “waits ” in driveways and turn-offs along US 23 in order to stop and ticket drivers in the 55mph to 65 mph range. The current speed limit is 55mph. Have seen this repeatedly happen throughout the year, for the past several years. Not certain if he still works for city of AuGres . He may drive an area county sheriffs department car now.

Past Augres at the two lane passing lane, this cop just get paid for writing ticketes. Beware!

Be aware of Sheriff sitting up against the former Lutz’s Bakery & Resturant as you are approaching from the North. Right hand (west side of highway) .
