Going east, the speed limit on Auburn Rd. goes from 50 mph to 35 mph for no apparent reason. OCSD cars sit just east of the I 75 overpass watching for those of us who miss the strange change.

They sit off on the South shoulder next to the golf course fence on the East end of Taylor Rd, between Giddings and Joslyn, facing West.

Interstate I 75 Southbound near Exit Number Square Lake Rd. Exit

Auburn Hills, MichiganSep 16, 20080 Comments

There is a wall between northbound and southbound lanes on I75 that ends right at the exit ramp for Square Lake Rd. It is very common to see Troy police or State Police sitting on one side of the wall or the other depending on which side they are currently radaring. If you are northbound, you won’t see them when you come around the curve, if you are southbound, they sit right where the wall ends and pop out from behind it. Very often it’s the State officers sitting there.
