S Trumbull Rd between 16th and 21st Streets

Bay City, MichiganApr 21, 20160 Comments

The speed limit suddenly drops from 35 mph to 25 mph at 21st street driving north for no apparent reason and the county sheriff is sitting on the west side of the road ready to ticket you. The speed limit was 45 mph up to 26th street, so drivers are unprepared for such a low limit.

S. Lincoln between Cass and 26th Streets

Bay City, MichiganSep 30, 20110 Comments

It appears neighbors will periodically complain to the police that people are driving faster than the 25 mph on Lincoln Street. I’ve seen police stop many cars for going faster than the 25 mph that this area is set for. It’s easy to be going faster than 25 mph on Lincoln Street and the police will hide either in unmarked cars on Lincoln Street itself or one of the side streets. I’ve even witnessed myself a police officer hiding behind a tree with a radar gun !!

Bus I-75/M25 where it splits into Thomas and Jenny

They sit at the point where the road splits. Be sure to slow down soon enough on the way into town. Also, DO NOT speed up too soon on the way to the expressway. (heading out of town) They’ll get you for that, too.

Old Kawkawlin Rd. by 7-11 and another by M-13

Bay City, MichiganFeb 10, 20100 Comments

The cops like to hang out in the parking lot of the old school board which is now demolished across from the 7-11 and get speeders on Old Kawkawlin Road…..there is also another one at the end of Old Kawkawlin Road (actually Grove Street down there) by M-13. They love nailing people especially on holiday weekends for speeding and seatbelts.
