Belleville, Michigan Speed Traps

Van Buren Township Police have been operating a dark grey, semi-marked Dodge Charger and setting up on the eastbound entrance ramps from Belleville Road and Haggerty Road onto EB I-94. By the time you come under the B’ville and/or Hag Road overpasses eastbound, smile, ’cause you are on laser!

Vanburen police sit in unmarked chargers along side of the fast lane. It looks like a disabled vechicle.

On Rawsonville Rd. going North the speed limit goes from 50 mph to 45 mph at the bottom of the Hill 500ft. before the Grove Rd. Intersection. Police wait in private Driveway behind bushes directly behind 45 mph sign.

The Van Buren Police set just on the other side of the over pass Going east on I-94. You can not see them in till you are rite on top of them or going by

In front of the entrance to Van Buren Park the speed limit is 35 mph.There are signs posted.Violations occur because there is a speed reduction from 50 mph to 35 mph.The 35 mph zone is for approximately 300 feet and then the speed limit increases to 50 mph.
