Village Limits

Capac, MichiganNov 24, 20020 Comments

During the day, vehicles will sit on the shoulder, mixing in with parked vehicles, or will be driving with normal traffic. During night-time hours, vehicles will be positioned in merchant parking lots or in dark areas along the shoulder with no vehicle lights on, or mobile. Presence is especially high during rush-hours (5 – 8 am, 4 – 7 pm ) and while dark. Speed limit on most of Main St. and most side-streets is 25 MPH. Enforcement is mostly on Main St., and occurs 7 days a week. The village fleet includes one vehicle with inside-car lights and markings only on driver’s side, and a second vehicle with roof lights and full-vehicle markings. On occasion, the Sheriff and State Police will join the village police during enforcement.
