Chesterfield, Michigan Speed Traps
Hall Rd. (William P. Rosso Hwy.) Just Past I-94 Going Towards Jefferson Ave.
Coming down the I-94 overpass on Hall Rd./William P. Rosso Hwy. (Going downhill you tend to speed up). The police sit hidden behind some bushes on the right side. You can’t see them until you are right up on them.
I-94 East and West between St. Clair Hwy. & Hall Rd.
Troopers sit in middle of freeway, behind overpass supports, and in rest spots (rarely); usually just west of 23 Mile overpass, between 23 & 26 Mile, and just west of 32 Mile (exit 257 to St. Clair). Never had a problem @ 75 mph.
Telstar Road near Gratiot Avenue
Telstar Rd. is a short run (approx. 3/4 of a mile long)and it runs between I94 and Gratiot Ave. – The speed limit is 25 mph. What the police do is sit at one end and point their radar at vehicles coming at them. If you’re doing 27/28 – They will ticket you.
Cotton Road near I94 Expressway
Traveling eastbound on Cotton Road off Gratiot Ave., the speed limit is 45 mph. As you drive over I94 (rise in roadway that blinds you to what’s in front of you), speed limit drops to a posted 35 mph. and the police officer will be right in front of you – waiting to ticket you. They will not give you a break on thatis one!

In the School parking lot West of the front of the School.
