Almost every morning when I leave there is a squad car hidden between the condo buildings nailing people on 14 mile.
Maplegrove drive has a traffic light right at the entrance. Maplegrove Drive is the light between Main Street and Rochester Road on the North side of 14 Mile. You cannot see the car until you are right in the "Intersection"

14 Mile Road near Bywood Avenue

Fourteen Mile Rd between Crooks and Main street was just completely rebuilt last fall. There used to be four (4) traffic lights in the one mile stretch of road and now there is just one (1). It is very easy to get speeding along now because there are no traffic lights and the road is nice and smooth. Between the hours of 5AM and 6:30AM there is either a marked or un-marked police car sitting parallel to the street in the driveway to the dentists office at Bywwod. I see them EVERY morning on my way to work.

Main Street near Elmwood Avenue

On the North-East corner of Elmwood and Main St and cop sits along side the building in the dark. If you are going Southbound on Main he will nail you for speeding or a rolling stop if you are turning right on Elmwood.

Elmwood Avenue near Crooks Road

Elmwood avenue between Selfige & Crooks. The speed limit is 25 but not posted. The key to this trap is the width of the street. Elmwood narrows in places and the speed limit on the wider sections of Elmwood from Rochester Rd. to Main Street is 35MPH. But where it widens between Selfrige and Crooks, it is 25MPH and not marked. The usually sit right on Elmwood but are not easy to spot becasue of the many other parked cars. I have also seen them on various side streets clocking people as the cruise by on Elmwood .
