Ford Road near Greenfield Road

If your traveling East on Ford road, as you go under Greenfield Road Underpass, it is now a construction zone and the speed limit drops to 35. They have a radar car and up to 5 chasers that sit on your left in the turn arounds, or they sit at the Donutville USA parking lot or no the side street just before the Oil Change place. This goes on almost all day and I have seen up to 35 cars pulled over in less than 2 hours. Its like a merry go round there. He is normally using a radar gun so he wont show up on radar detectors till he pulls the trigger and then its too late. Its also a construction so the fines could cost you double the normal rate.

As you head north on Southfield Freeway, just past the Oakwood overpass, there is frequently a cop parked near the entrance ramp from Oakwood. He parks in such a way he can peg you as you come under the bridge, but you don’t see him until it’s too late. Regular speed limit is 55, but construction lately has speed limit down to 45. I see someone pulled over here every single day.

You won’t see them until you are right about to pass them because they sit in the trucking company parking lot. Or they will sit in the park.

Warren Avenue near Evergreen Road

Westbound right lane traffic struggles to clear ongoing contruction or repair of curb/drainage, slowing down. Clearing the slower traffic left lane traffic must increase mileage to clear. At the same time the speed limit drops at the city/township change from 40 to 35 mph. The tracking officers are on the spot when a car increases 5+ mph into clear roadway.
