It does not give you time to slow down there the posting are to close together and the police know this and stop alot of people. The police sit in an old parking lot just waiting on you. This is on the Dearborn side of Southfield Service drive.

The Great Michigan Ticket Machine Returns. Ford Rd between Southfield Freeway and Telegraph both east & westbound both Dearborn and D-Heights cops are enforcing the 50 MPH speed limit HARD in the zone from Visteon to SAE HQ buildings. Go 3 over and you get popped for 5-10 over. D-Heights now has hand held laser and will shoot you going eastbound around the new Muslem Mosque. Enforcment increases with clearness of weather and sunlight, and also gets strong on Saturday afternoon (nabbing tourists to the Henry Ford Museum ?) Non Ford vehicles (aka Non Dearborn residents) most likely to get popped first.

The police have been watching traffic on the campus lately (as of Oct 2003). Watch out! I saw a driver pulled over last night, and unfortunately received my ticket this morning!

Golfview between Outer Drive and Ford Road

Speedlimit is unrealistically low at 25mph. Most people drive at least 30, up to 40 is the normal flow of traffic. Easy pickings for the traffic nazis.
