Vreeland Road near Between Cahill Road and Telegraph Road
The police frequently take radar in a couple places on Vreeland between the railroad tracks and Telegraph. There is a small turn-around on the south side of the road just west of Peters Road, and they will also sit in the Lodge parking lot at the corner of Telegraph and Vreeland.
Telegraph Road near Law Drive
They will frequently sit down Law Street (the little road just south of the railroad bridge) on the east side of Telegraph and take radar. This is the area where the speed limit drops from 40 to 30 to 25 in a fairly short distance. Woodhaven police seem to be there more often after dark.

Gibraltar Rd from U.S. 24 (Telegraph) to I -75
Flat Rock uses both marked and unmarked radar units as well as a radar equipped motor cycle. Motorcycle unit sometimes sits in the City Hall parking lot.Speed limit is 25 mph but I have frequently passed them at 30 without a second look.
For those of you with radar detection devices, the radar cars are very easy to locate as they use an older version long throw radar that can be detected long before you are in the "danger zone". Also known to set up shop in front of the Mazda plant just west of I-75.
