Waverly Road

Holland, MichiganMay 05, 20080 Comments

Speed limit some places 35 other places 40 police hide in several places. Just off Waverly on 10 Street, behind or along side the BPW building by Meijer, in the parking lot at the old Menards. This can run from 8th Street all the way to 40th.

Not caught but witnessed it on Sunday May 4 one car was on 10th Street and the other was in the parking lot behind the old Menards. One with radar pointed one way and the other pointing the opposite direction therefor they were getting them going both north and south.

Ottawa Beach Rd. Street near 152nd Avenue

Sheriff sometimes parks in the entry area of the county fairgrounds, backed up to the fence, and sometimes parks across the street at the airport, backed up to a hangar building. Either way the car is undetectable until it’s too late. posted limit is 45. You can do 50 but that’s all. If you speed you will eventually get a ticket.

Ottawa Beach Drive near Waukazoo

A sherriff sits in the Ottawa County Fairgrounds entrance behind the sign. He is always facing west. Keep your speed at 45 mph. It is easy to go a lot faster on that stretch of road.

Pine Street near 7th Street

Was stopped on Sunday the 27th at around 8 pm with little or no traffic on the road. He was sitting in the Padnos driveway on the bike path. 43 in a 30 when I was getting pasted on the left side by someone going faster than me. Will fight this one tooth and nail.

Paw Paw Drive near 112th Avenue

On Paw Paw Drive, between 112th and 106th Aves. near the American Legion post and the Holland Country Club. County sheriff’s deputy sits somewhere along this stretch, which is posted at 35 even though it’s lightly traveled and has no actual houses on it. Because of this, they may decide to give you a break on the ticket because a lot of people don’t know it’s a 35. You should stay at or near that limit, though, because otherwise you will be paying for it. I learned the hard way.
