on lansing avenue -just south of the party port party store

On Lansing Avenue going south around curve by the party port party store there is a small turn around with a large bush and a white fence that says free wood. Police sit there and face north, by the time you get by they have you.The speed drops from 45 to 35 there.

Not exactly a speed trap. More likely entrapment

At the corner of 1ST and Franklin on the side of Freds Liquors there is a large box truck parked and you are unable to see the stop sign. Directly across from Freds is a Jackson patrol car usually in the parking lot. If you dont know the area (like me) its hard to see the stop sign. Although I did hesitate, I went through after an oncoming car passed. I was pulled over and ticketed. I went back to take pictures of the truck and the area.. and low and behold that cop was back again. I would love to know if anyone else got a ticket at this intersection.

State sits in median and catches trucks exceeding a lower posted limit than car limit. Federal Law prohibits radar enforcement anywhere that has not had a traffic survey within previous 5 years. Jackson courts ignore this law. Split speed limits are very unsafe to the slower moving vehicle, per national highway safety studies. Truck drivers beware!!!

Only sign you see is 45 mile zone ends. I have gotten stopped doing 55 saying it’s a 50 through there.
