Interstate 94 near US Highway 127
Traveling West on I-94 towards US-127 South (exit 142) The State and sheriff sit between the signs on the West bound on ramp of US-127 to I-94. Which is the overpass to I-94. So you don’t see them until it is to late. They also sit just prior to exit 145 which is Sargent Road, usually monitoring the West bound traffic. Really on a busy day for the State boys, from Ann Arbor to Jackson they are everywhere.
N West Avenue near Madison Street
city police cars back in parking lots alongside buildings, especially Centennial Wireless.
Hague Road near McDevitt Road
Very heavly enforced, will stop for 3 or 4 miles over. Speed limit changes from 40 to 25 with no warning. All of Vandercook has been a speed trap for over 30 years.
Interstate 94
Traveling on 94, the speed limit quickly drops from 70mpg to 55mph with little warning. Sheriff and State Troopers actively patrol both directions. Every time I travel through, I see at least one car pulled over who missed the change.
Shirley Drive near Woodworth Road
Patrol car sits off Shirley Drive between Parnall Rd. and Woodworth, near Sercombe Trucking, catching speeders coming off Parnall onto Shirley or onto Shirley off Springport Rd. Speed limit was 35 mph but recently changed to 45 mph in that stretch.
