Lansing, Michigan Speed Traps
Glasgow Dr & Waverly Rd.
Two or more officers on motorcycles in this area to issue tickets. Speed limit is 35, though most motorists drive 45.
Shaw Lane near Chestnut Road
When you are heading Westbound on Shaw lane just after Chestnut (The Breslin Center will be coming up on your right) the speed limit is 25mph and there is ALWAYS a cop parked either in the median behind a tree or in the Breslin Parking lot, they are incredibly hard to see and it takes them about 10 minutes of waiting before they catch someone, I have gotten pulled over there for going only 34mph, they let me off with a warning but just go 25, it’s the only way not to get screwed.
mlk blvd Road near boston Boulevard
the cops are making brownie points so beware it dont matter what side of the law your on except theres
Cavanaugh Road near M.L.K Boulevard
Police cars and bikes are located at the radio station just past the high school and also at the elementary school across the street. The posted speed limit is 25 and is strictly inforced. I recommend doing 25 on Cavanaugh between M.L.K and Cedar st.
Jolly Road near M.L.K Boulevard
Police cars are often parked in the church parking lot 1/2 mile before m.l.k. They sit back from the road and are not visible untill your passing them. I take Jolly everyday and see them there 60 – 70% of the time.
