Lasalle, Michigan Speed Traps

I give permission for any city official to park at the end of my driveway, allowing any speeding motorists to be radared. Speed limit is 50 and I feel they are going more than 15 mph over that.

This trap is where Telegraph (US-24) splits into a divided highway with the Weigh Station in the middle. The South County Magistrate’s Office is on the SB US-24 side of Telegraph. Monroe Co. Sheriff or Michigan State Police will sit ewither at the Magistrate or in the middle section by the Weigh Station clocking traffic trying to make a few passes of slower vehicles in this four-lane stretch of Telegraph. Speed Limit is 55 MPH. 60 MPH is probably the maximum here.
