25 Mile Road near Broughton Road

Macomb, MichiganApr 21, 20050 Comments

Traveling east on 25 Mile Road past Broughton Road (where the new township hall and ice arena are built) on the north side of 25 Mile Road there is a grassy area that a car can back into just out of sight (behind some brush). A cop (Macomb Township generally) will sit there waiting for the speeders on this road to pass. The speed limit is 50 or 55, but generally 60-70 is driven on this road due in part to its current low traffic.

Mound Road near 13 Mile Road

Macomb, MichiganApr 15, 20051 Comments

Heading North or South bound on Mound Rd. You will be traveling at posted speeds of 45 M.P.H.; all of a sudden between 13 and 14 Mile Rd. it drops to 35 M.P.H. This is a huge cash cow for the City of Warren. EVERY single morning and sometimes in the afternoon you see people stopped by the cops. This is especially true on nicer days. It’s a good trap for the motorcylce cops.

Gratiot going twards Port Huron

Macomb, MichiganOct 03, 20020 Comments

On this road (gratiot)there is a section that contains winding turns. In the middle of these turns sits a small park. The the police like to talk to each other here, and hit cars with there radar. It is real hard to see them until it is too late, due to the s curves. This area looks like it is in the middle of know ware, and people tend to go at leased 65-70 in a 55 because it is the straitest route from Richmind mi, to Port Huron
