Madison Heights, Michigan Speed Traps

I’ve seen city and state cops parked at the State Farm building north of 13 mile btw John R. and Dequindre roads. Speed limit is 40, but everyone goes about 10 over easily. Watch out in this area.

Just north of 12 mile Rd on Stephenson Highway. The Madison Heights police sit in the parking lot of one of the unused buildings just north of the trailer park. You can’t see them due to the landscape until you are right upon the driveway of the parking lot. By then, its to late to slow down. They are there practically every morning.

Sits in the Madison Heights School District offices parking lot just south of 11 mile on the East side of John R, usually in an unmarked cruiser.

I enter I-696 from the service drive just West of Dequindre Rd.

The state police are on the shoulder of the entrance ramp going Westbound on I-696. This is just East of the I-75 entrance ramp for both North and Southbound traffic.

I see them there at least once a week.
