Marquette, Michigan Speed Traps

Police love to sit in the Lindberg gravel pit entrance and radar traffic especially heading east toward CR553. I’ve heard many instances, on my scanner, of people clocked 80 and above. It’s just one of those kinda desolate places that drivers let it "all hang out". And the police like to sit there after dark, too, so don’t think your safe then, either.

They sit in the Air Gas parking lot on Meeske Ave. & watch for peolple rolling through the stop sign, when traveling east, & traffic light when traveling west, at the Business 41 US 41 intersection.

As you get to the top of Lincoln Street hill, on the left hand side of the road the cops like to sit in the apartment building parking lot. I have seen cops there many times. They will some times sit in the parking lot of Dr. Jamieson’s office.

They like to park in the used car lot next to used cars facing US-41.

At Night, the police will sometimes hide in the L shaped NMU parking lot.
