Going North on Sugarloaf Avenue from Wright Street toward Co. Rd. 550, the police hide by the storage buildings on the right side of the road, posted speed is 25 mph, should be 35 or 45.
County Trunk 550 near Sugar Loaf Avenue
Long straight streach after Dead River Bridge, police hide on left side of road goning North before curve, they actually have a plowed out space during the winter, posted speed is 45, should be 55.
West side of Division St. Street near Between Stone Quarry Rd. and Joliet Street
They sit on the West side of the street just South of UP Tax and Accounting on a grassy turn around pointing both ways. This is a 25 Mph street in a residential area.
Wright Street near Lincoln Avenue
Traveling west on Wright St., as you pass Lincoln Ave., look about 150 yards ahead on the right side of the street. There is a spot located in a small group of trees only about 15 feet off the roadway and the cops love to sit there. If you are speeding at Lincoln, and they are there, you’re probably getting a ticket! Good Luck!
Downhill section of Grove Street near Coming down hill, approaching US 41 bypass Bypass
The speed limit on Grove Street is 25 mph but maintaining it in the downhill section requires riding your brakes all the way down the hill. The Marquette City police officer often positions him/herself in a little turn-off to the right, half-way down the hill. Weekend afternoons seem to be a prime time.
