County Street
Consider Milan Michigan one big speed trap. Downtown Milan has an unusually long downtown stoplight in addition to twenty-five mile an hour speed limits vigorously enforced everywhere. Be especially careful driving along Dexter and County streets. Country roads such as Milan-Oakville, Wabash, Plank and Platt are all open season.
Milan Police revenue collectors have a dark sedan with very few markings and lights in the interior. They also have a whole fleet of brand new cars with regular markings. Dont expect to be treated right if they pull you over. The impatience they have for their citizenry is appalling.
