Eastbound speed drops from 55 to 40 in Grape. Westbound speed goesfrom 45to 40. Police often sit in the parking lot at the store for eastbound traffic and at the utility station on the curve east of Grape for the westbound traffic.

Speed drops from 55 to 45 eastbound on N. Custer. Police often sit in the parking lot at the old little store just past the Raisinville Rd intersection.

They park in different spots, but the speed limit is 30, then 35 all the way up to Stewart, and with it being a 2 lane busy street, in some spots it seems like it should be at least 40-45. Not fun when you are rushing to a doctor appointment near stewart with a sick screaming kid in the back!! Don’t even try to talk your way out of it too…no sympathy!

Cops sit in the long driveway across from the YMCA on a daily basis. This may be more for a visual to warn drivers that they are present, but it happens at ALL times of the day.

LaPlaisance Road is posted at only 40mph in a spot just south of Dunbar road (just over the railroad tracks heading toward I-75) where there are only fields on both sides of the road and it could easily be 50 or 55. Police like to sit near the Speedway gas station as you head toward I-75, so it looks like a car might be pulling out of the Speedway. They seem to like this spot at night, but I wouldn’t speed here during the day either.
