Northville, Michigan Speed Traps

They sit right in the left hand turn lane west of Haggerty just past Home Depot. I think they are more after late turn on yellow or red lights. Have seen them there on numerous occasions

Cop is usually on N side of road in a little pull out facing west for east bounders coming in to downtown Northville. Speed limit drops from 45 to 40 at Beck Rd. and then to 35 past Clement. A bit of downhill grade also at this locale. Sometimes they will be furthur west and on occasion on south side in drive at St. Lawrence condos.

The police sit in the road of the sub-division on the north side of the road or they just sit facing west on 7 Mile Road just past the hill by Ridge Road going west.

Cop sits north of 6 Mile Rd. along line of trees on Ridge Rd. 4 way stop at that intersection. I suggest you come to a Comlete stop. Usually there in the morning hours, on the way to work, but have seen him there in the evening as well, and even on weekends. In the winter you can see the exhaust from his car going west bound on Ridge Rd. Can’t see him at all going eastbound until it’s too late.

As you turn right (north) off 8 Mile Rd. onto Novi Rd, a cop is always waiting around the bend to your right (just before Guernsey Dairy) to get speeders going over 40 MPH.
