Police will sit, hidden at the bottom of each side of the bridge. The speed limit on Grand River is 50, but the bridge speed limit is 40. They are very sneaky!

When driving WB on Grand River, from Novi Rd., posted speed is 40MPH. Police will sit on the west side of the railroad bridge any time of day. In addition, driving EB, they again will sit on east side of same bridge checking speeds. Be safe, do 40MPH, they WILL ticket you at 50MPH

Going east on Grand River, once you pass through the intersection of Novi Rd and Grand River, a cop usually hides in the Taste of Bangkok restaurant’s second driveway. They are tucked in beneath the shadows of a large tree and the shadows make them almost undetectable until you pass them. They are there especially at night and in the evening. Speed limit is 35MPH and the left hand turn signal light turning onto Grand River from Novi Rd is short, too – they’ll nab you if you’re not careful.

About 300 yards west of Novi road on Grandriver there is a bridge that goes over a railway. The officer parks east or west of the bridge since he is invisible to drivers coming from the other side of the bridge. You must keep your speed at 40 mph.
