Novi, Michigan Speed Traps

On Novi, between 12 and 13 mile, the cops sit either in the side entrance to the big Jewish cemetary or across the street, behind the BP catching people traveling southbound. I have also seen them between 13 and 14 mile sitting in the exit of the elementary school waiting for people, travelling northbound specifically. They will have people pulled over by the time they hit the CVS at 14 Mile.

They hide with Lights out at night at the bottom of the hill,hidden just off the road.

Between 13 & 14 Mile Roads

White Pines Drive and Burlington Ct, the road betweek Beck and Taft has a few nice curves which makes it fun to drive fast in a 25MPH residential area. They will ticket you for 2 over and it is well deserved in a residential area. One was ticketed for 57 in a 25.

Just North of 12 Mile there’s a hill and the speed limit is 40. The police will sit at the bottom of the hill before 12 1/2 Mile Rd checking NB traffic.
Just North of 12 1/2 Mile Road the limit dips to 35. Lots of curves and I’ve seen the police sit anywhere (including the left turn lane) at the apex of a curve.
