Oakland, Michigan Speed Traps

After removing any opportunity to pass for 2 miles, they lowered the speed limit to 45 from 55 mph. The sit on Silver Bell, watching north & south bound traffic for infractions including speeding, yellow lights, etc.

South bound Adams from Orion road, 1/4 mile before Gunn road is a blind hill and a 30 or 45 mph electric sign. The typical enforcement hours are sometime in the morning rush and the afternoon rush, ostensibly to "protect" the school kids. There are no legal auto turns into the school from Adams, only school buses, and you never see ANY pedestrians as it was a 55mph suburban road 2 years ago, with no pedestrian access. The police maintain a clocked at 55 mph radar from an earlier victim, and magnimoniously give you only a 5 mph over ticket which you cannot fight because they already gave you a break.
