Perry, Michigan Speed Traps

When driving south east, the speed limit drops from 55 to 40 just after the railroad crossing with no warning. The speed limit sign is obscured by the crossing. The Perry police are waiting in a drive way near the second speed limit sign which is clearly designated. As soon as your car crosses the railroad tracks , you are tagged.

On the south side of town, in the "curve" there is a spot on the west side right of way where the Perry City Police sit and shoot radar. They’ve been seen shooting radar both toward the northbound and southbound traffic.

You are vulnerable whether traveling north or south on M-52, one half mile south of the city of Perry.
You will commonly see a city of Perry police car waiting on the north side of the road with radar at any itme of day or night.
