Portage, Michigan Speed Traps

Currently Mandigo is used as detour for Gourdneck Creek bridge work on Portage Rd. All roads leading to Mandigo have speed limits of 45 mph. Portage police sit in woods near wetlands on north side of Mandigo 1/4 mile east of Portage Rd.

The speed limit on this road traveling Northbound is 30 mph. You will gain at least 10-15 mph going down the hill. Our buddys will be waiting at the bottom hiding behind a building.

Video camera at intersections, cameras view all four directions at both intersections.. They are planning for more video cameras at a few other busy intersections along the shopping stripe from Kilgore to Center street. And one at West Milham Road and Oakland Drive intersection.

A Police car sits at Sunset Bowling Alley where they can not be seen until it is too late.
