Prairieville, Michigan Speed Traps

It is common to see the Prairieville police "cruising" through town and pulling over cars going over the 35 mph speed limit. I don’t see the police "hiding" in any one spot, but I’ve often seen cars pulled over right around the ballpark. I was stopped once (going 5mph over) but the police kindly gave me only a warning. It cured me…no sense pushing my luck!

The Prairieville police are very, very good at tucking into the shadows on the side of Lockshore Road. They usually are facing north near Cressy Rd. & Lockshore Farm. The most common spot is just south of Cressy on the east side of the road.
