Cops sit in a church parking lot on the south side of Harding and nab anyone going over 25mph.
Ludlow Street near Between Woodward and University Drive Street
Ludlow is a main thoroughfare, but, like many streets in downtown Rochester, it is a residential street. Cops sit on side streets and ticket anyone going over 25mph.
Runyon Road
The cops are fishing in a barrel at this location. They sit at the eastern entrance to Stony Creek Rige North subdivision,facing west. Vehicles traveling east dont stand a chance due to a hill that blocks yor vision to the patrol car. I worked in that area and watched as a single cop made approx. 10 stops within 45 minutes!
Woodward Street, in the parking lot west of the car wash across the street from Dillman and Upton Hardware
The City of Rochester officer parks under the trees facing east in the parking lot for Halmback Field west of the Old Towne Car Wash. They are usually there on the weekends and late afternoon and evenings. Rumor has it that one of the cops is part owner of the car wash and oil change. Perhaps an opportunity for a little double-duty?
