Sitting off in the gated driveway at the top of the hill near the golf course hiding in the shadows. Be Careful. He is set up so he has plenty of room to U-Turn to follow you.

Livernois Street near Maple Street

Police sit on side street a couple of blocks north of Maple waiting for someone waiting at the light about 50 cars back, to enter the left turn lane too early and issue them an improper lane use ticket.

Rochester Road near Maple Road

I have seen Troy police in this speedtrap continuosly. After Rochester road splits off from stephenson highway and the mile or so of road to the Maple road intersection, there are always cops hiding in bushes/old driveways on the right mostly. Watch out, the speedlimit is 35 mph but it is only marked once and is hard to see. Since most people will speed right past you if your going the speed limit it’s easy to follow the crowd, but don’t. I got pulled over and fell for the speedtrap. The police cars are sometimes unmarked Ford crown victorias. Most times there are regular marked Troy Police Ford Crown Vics but watch out for Troy’s Chevy Camaro traffic patrol vehicle. They are trying to be tricky! You are hereby warned! Thanks

John R Road near Raintree Park

Nearly everyday a police officer sits in Raintree Park pointing his radar onto John R Road catching speeders in either direction. What they should be doing is patroling Raintree Subdivision for speeders. We have kids in the sub.

Eastways Street near Square Lake Street

This is a favorite for the police who have traffic beat. They are not always along this 1/2 mile stretch that is a short-cut to us insiders, but if they are you are certain to get nailed.
