Post Office parking lot on the north end of town

Walloon Lake, MichiganApr 12, 20100 Comments

When coming from the south on M-75 (coming from Boyne City), just before you get to Walloon Lake, you’ll see a sign warning of a 25 mph curve ahead, then a 25 mph ahead speed limit sign, and right on the curve attached to a utility pole is a 25 mph speed limit sign. If you look straight down the road, about half way around the curve coming into Walloon Lake, right about the time you get to the speed limit sign, about a quart mile to the north of you is the post office. They sit there and catch you when you come around the curve. It drops from 55 down to 25 and you’d better be doing 25 when you get to the sign.
