Warren, Michigan Speed Traps

There is one cop that has pulled me over here twice. He usually sits and waits in the Art Van parking lot. Beware!

North and South bound on Mound as you pass under I-696 a cop will sitting just behind the pillor. It’s so bad now since the speed limit in that area has been bumped up (I believe it’s 45 MPH).

Varying days and hours; between two and five Warren PD cars will be parked at the top of the EB on ramp from Hoover to 696. One officer will stand at the fence with a radar gun and signal the others to go when he catches someone speeding. You are unable to see them until its too late when traveling EB on 696. I’ve seen 3 cars pulled over at the same time within a 1/4 mile of this on ramp.

There is a State trooper who sits on the inside shoulder of 696 and is a little ticket happy if you ask me. He has pulled over people for going 1mph over the speed limit! He thinks he owns the road and likes to cut people off when getting back on the freeway from a pullover. He’s also not afraid to use the service drive in that area as well.
