Ryan Rd & 11 Mile E I- 696

Officer David Kanapsky of 20/20 fame sits in the parking lot of a strip mall on the NE side of this intersection. There is a no right on red sign among 3 others at this intersection. I’ve watched him in action and wrting tickets here is almost like shooting fish in a barrel. I’ve even seen city of Warren vehicles make a rolling stop with a right turn on red. The city of Warren employees don’t even follow the driving laws. This intersection must be a big money maker for the city of Warren. 20/20 should film here

Martin Street near Between Vandyke and Hoover

There is cop that sits in the sub division about half way between Van Dyke and Hoover. THe speed limit is only 25 MPH which is silly and he doesn’t even ask for anything besides your license. Then he gives you a ticket for the full amount over you were going.

State Route M53 near I696 Expressway

Warren, MichiganMay 22, 20080 Comments

Unmarked Police car sits on southbound VanDyke in front of car dealership about 3 blocks south of I696. 2 Chase cars are about 2 blocks south, pulling cars over & issue tickets.

11 Mile Road near Bunert Road

Warren, MichiganMay 13, 20082 Comments

Westbound 11 Mile Rd. between Groesbeck Hwy. and Bunert Rd. There is a small business drive located between a florist and a bank on the north side that is often occupied by Warren police officers. I have seen numerous people pulled over in this location. The posted speed limit is 40 MPH and the lights are poorly timed so if you make it through the Groesbeck Hwy. light you will not make it through the Bunert Rd. light. There is an entrance ramp to I-696 freeway (Westbound) right after the Bunert Rd. light.
