West Bloomfield, Michigan Speed Traps

A cop sits in the parking lot of the West Bloomfield Family Aquatic Center waiting for speeders in the 35 zone. Ive only seen a few ppl pulled over, but be wary if you have tints, etc.

A cop will sometimes park in the SE most corner of the Crosswinds Plaza (Kroger, CVS, etc.) at Orchard and Lone Pine. IMPOSSIBLE to spot! The bushes and trees completely block your view of the car when going west on Lone Pine. I’ve never actually seen anyone get pulled over though…not sure if the officer is actually on traffic duty or just trying to get off doing his/her job.

Police like to sit in the entry to the nature preserve and wait for people coming around the curve. Seem to trap eastbound traffic more than westbound, probably because there’s a shorter sight distance coming from the west.

On south bound Telegraph just before you hit 14 Mile Rd on the West bound side of the road there is usually a cop sitting on a little patch of cement off of a road going into a small subdivsion. He is there usually 4 days out of the week. Speed limit is 50 mph but if you do about 5 mph over he/she will usually not stop you.

Police sit on west side of Lochaven near Grier Rd. Speed Limit is 35 when all other surrounding roads are 40.
