Wyandotte, Michigan Speed Traps
Fort Street
Cops in Wyandotte are ticketing like mad, in February 2007 alone they wrote $100,000 in tickets. Make sure when stopping at all red lights in the city of Wyandotte that you do not go over the "white line" or you will be ticketed, it is happening all over the city especially on Fort Street. Wyandotte must need money for their city desperatley to be writing this many tickets in one month alone!
Fort Street near North of Pennsylvania
As noted in other Wyandotte speedtraps, the stretch of Fort St. north of Pennsylvania is an abomination because of the number of police officers hiding in parking lots, behind hedges, etc. Watch out for the Sav-A-Lot parking lot – a favorite hiding place.
Fort Road near Orchard Street
Our Friendly traffic cop in an unmarked car has moved farther south on Fort St. just south of Orchard St. He sits in a parking lot facing north with traffic, usually during the evening when the buisness is closed. The speed limit is 40, I’ve seen him there many times this month and he has cars pulled over all the time.
Biddle Road near Pennsylvania Road
Motorcycle Cop travels Biddle north and south to Pennsylvania running radar on his bike, also sits and hides behind buildings. Speed Limit is 35 and he gets everbody over 40, I did !
Fort Road near Northine Road
Traffic Cop sits in an unmarked car or on a Motorcycle just north of Northline Rd. in the parking lane on the east side. Speed Limit is 35mph and he rarely gives any breaks. Shoots radar and laser. I wouldnt push more than 40mph past him or you’ll get zinged!
