On Hwy 71, usually at the north end of town
Active especially during the tourist season. The speed limit drops suddenly from 55 to 30, and an officer is there to catch those that don’t slow down. I worked nearby for a week and stayed in the motel nearby. I heard a siren and saw a driver pulled over about every 10 or 15 minutes, all evening. I suspect that the town uses their police car to raise funds to pay for police services.
