They sit in the second driveway behind bushes and nail people day and night. It is a 30mph speed limit and should be a 40 or 45.

Engler Boulevard near County Trunk 41

This speed trap is located on Engler Boulevard adjacent to the Chaska Fire Department. As you approach Highway 41, the squads will hide in the parking lot of the Fire Station.
They are relentless on most all traffic violations in the area, and will nab any speeder going east or west on Engler.

State Highway 212 near History marker, turnaround about 1 mile west of the intersection of #212 and #41.

this is a very convenient place for the officers to use radar in both directions. There is a u-shaped turnaround here where he can easily go in either direction to pull speeders over. This is a very HIDDEN site to people who don’t know it’s there so it’s easy to get careless.

State Highway 41 near Victoria Drive

Actually the city of Chaska is a giant speed trap. I believe CPD Officers would give their own mothers a ticket if they could. Chaska relies heavily on their officers running traffic stops. So be very carefull when driving through their city!

Hwy 212 (both eastbound and westbound) at Hwy 41

Chaska, MinnesotaJul 13, 20020 Comments

Hwy 212 is 50 mph, save for a short 30 mph zone on either size of Hwy 41. The police like to sit inside each of these zone changes, and both directions offer them good sightline cover. Eastbound, they will sit on the right hand side of the road, two blocks west of 41, right after the bend in the road that crosses the bridge. Westbound, they’re also on the right hand side, usually sitting in or near the KFC or Hardee’s parking lots (just after the car dealer and Chaska Home store). They’ll tag you immediately after the speed zone change. Of all my neighbors, no one has gotten off without a ticket as yet.
