Dundas, Minnesota Speed Traps

Patrol car parks in parking lot east of railroad tracks and clocks motorists by radar as they crest the small hill entering town. County Road 1 is posted 30 mph beyond the built-up area so many people exceed the posted.

Dundas cops like to catch North bound speeders coming into the Dundas/Northfield area where HWY 3 and County Road 20 intersect (about a 1/2 mile before Meanards). They sit off the side of the road and are hard to see. Speed limit is 55.

Cop will sit on the shoulder of the road with his lights off and is undetectable until the motorist drives past. Cop car will be positioned aprox. 1 mile East of Menards.
