Edina, Minnesota Speed Traps

Eastbound 50th bottom of hill past creek before Wooddale. You are traveling down hill some what steep easy to pick up unintentional speed even with cruise control set. There is a parking lot by tennis courts police in lot checking speeds. This area is highly residental and many parks and people in area.

Unmarked squads and motorcycle cop hiding behind brush with lidar

Edina PD sit on the 50th/Vernon/Eden Onramp to SB 100 behind some bushes and catch you as you go by. It seems like the cop just likes to take a break there, but he will pull you over if you go too fast in this 55 MPH zone.

Houses on th east, park/woodland on the west, easy prey as most cars are 5/15 over. Edina patrol uses this at will. Method: the squad just pulls over out of the sight line, it too late when you see them.

Edina Police sit up on the East side of 100 North about where the Benton Ave Bridge crosses 100 North with radar. There is also a Patrol car about 1/4 mile north of the trap to pull over speeders
