Both NB and SB US Hwy 53 – Eveleth to Cotton – wooded median in some areas – they sit in crossovers obscured by trees and brush – work partners a few miles apart and work with aircraft a lot. Referred to as a "good fishing hole" by the Troops.

Police will sit on westbound lane aiming radar behind them (back towards Gilbert) and tag cars not slowing down from 55 to 30 mph fast enough. They are obscured by the Highway 53 bridge. Don’t coast into town!
