Fountain, Minnesota Speed Traps

Residential streets enter on to Hwy 52 all through this 1 mile stretch. The speed limit is 40 through town but since only a couple driveways enter on to the highway at the north end of town it certainly does not feel like a 40 mile per hour zone. Hwy 52 curves it’s way though town so there are pleanty of places for the state patrol to “hide in plain sight”. They do this often and since I drive through daily on my way to and from work I see the State Patrol there often. The speed zone on the south end of town does not end until you are about a half mile south of town which is another deception. Watch Your Speed here, they will stop you. MN State Patrol budget is highly dependent on tickets and they seldom give out warnings.
