The Deerwood police recently acquired the “Law Enforcement” contract for the city of Ironton that borders Crosby. Deerwood Police are known for it’s speed trap stops of 32mph in a 30mph, well needless to say they have taken their show on the road to Ironton and have been handing out multiple speed citations on a daily basis. Law enforcement (Dark blue marked police vehicle) camps out just before the curve entering Ironton on Hwy 210 from Brainerd, best to slow down about a mile out and leaving town just past the American Legion.
