LPD is attempting to pay the national debt off by having an officer stationed in this area for 28 of the last 31 days for several hours each day. This area is rolling hills and the officers station themselves in the median on a down grade.

Pilot Knob Road, between Dodd Blvd. and 170th Street

Lakeville, MinnesotaApr 29, 20100 Comments

LPD works this area hard and often! Typically they will sit in the median clocking cars going both directions. Other times they use one of their unmarked squads and use radar, clocking northbound traffic. This is such a target rich environment that they will commonly have one squad clock vehicles and have a couple "chase squads" run the speeders down and pull them over.

167th Street on Kenwood trail

Lakeville, MinnesotaApr 04, 20100 Comments

Cops sit on the bike path in the dark, and radar south bound Kenwood trail traffic coming around a slight curve, this curve is approx. 1/4 mile south of County road 46 (a.k.a. 160th Street stop light.)

They also sit back on a residents driveway, facing southbound, and radar cars traveling northbound, past the Chart House Sign. They also sit in a driveway of Benjamin Sign Co. which is directly across the street from the Chart House sign,. and radar cars, in the dark
