Maplewood, Minnesota Speed Traps

Police sit in the office building parking lot at night back far enough that you can’t see them until your right at the stop sign. Running radar and catching those who think stop signs are optional.

This is suppose to be a shop for fixing up cop cars but it is actually a hidden trap.

Officer sits in townhouse driveway on Maryland near McKnight. Speed limit is 30. Maryland is downhill between Century and McKnight and I don’t remember seeing but one speed limit sign and that is near Mobile Home park. Most other "wide" streets in that area between Century and McKnight are 35-40 mph (Larpenteur, Stillwater, Minnehaha).

Police are on the E. side of the road between Ramsey Nsg. Home and Maplewood Community Center in the multiple parking lots there. Usually target drivers going N. down the hill from the nursing home.
