Medina, Minnesota Speed Traps

They are always there, night or day.

They sit across 55 from the storage units. They use there flashlights to make the solar street light go out and if your going west they’re trees in the way of seeing them and if your heading east you come up over a hill and it’s too late.

Speed trap set up several times a year in the a.m. rush of people going to WORK. Unmarked(not even a police vehical)truck is parked on gravel on bottom of hill between gas station in hamel and Rockler wharehouse. Truck has no lights on and several times the cops are in the bed of the truck leaning back on LAWN CHAIRS! They will clock you and radio ahead to about 5-7 waiting chasers. They usualyy have 4-5 cars pulled over at once. I have seen up to 7 at one time!!All other times of the year traffic is HEAVILY enforced on the Medina stretch of 55. WATCH OUT!!!
