New Trier, Minnesota Speed Traps

One sign warning of going down to 30 from 55 zone. Hilly area so one does not see the “city” ahead. Very easy to miss both signs. Cop admitted… yeah… kind of a speed trap. City is 112 people. While slowing down is warranted… 40 would be standard… and especially from the West going East… if they really want people down to 30 mph for the 25 seconds going through the little village, they really should put two signs West of City… with lights on one. The hilly nature… and fact the one sign that exists is obscured by a tree and farm place. Oh… the New Trier City Attorney prosecutes… think they hit non-locals for fine $?
