State Highway 14 near State Highway 52

Rochester, MinnesotaApr 09, 20080 Comments

They park on hwy 14 under or near the hwy 52 bridge. They are looking for people leaving bars as many leave on Civic center Drive to go West out of Rochester on hwy 14.
AND THE SPEED LIMIT IS 50MPH AND DOESN’T CHANGE TO 65 FOR A HALF OF A MILE, but you think you should be going highway speeds. You might think it is designed to catch unaware drivers.

10th Street near 1st Avenue

Rochester, MinnesotaJun 02, 20060 Comments

Usually present at the corner of 1st Ave NE and 10th St NE one block off of Broadway. Citizens are attempting to get a stop sign put in place, teenagers caused this trap to occurr by speeding from one major roadway to another using this route to skip a stoplight. Many families live along this road, so the trap isn’t necessarily unfair in regards to local safety, but the speed limit isn’t posted at all on this 10-block strech of road and the police can easily spot speeders.
