Saint Paul, Minnesota Speed Traps
St. Paul and State police ticketing from both sides of bridge.
Local PD in an unmarked car is pulling over southbound speeders.
Was waiting at a red light facing east on Randolph with police car directly in front of me (police car was first in line and I was second in line). Police car lingered at light while cop played with computer terminal so I went around him on the right and he stopped me a half a block later for passing him on the right! St. Paul is vigorously enforcing all traffic laws for increased income as city budget has SEVERE income shortfall and increased liabilities from RNC convention.
35E Northbound and Southbound are slowed to 45 MPH to appease the local citizens because of "road noise." This is a stretch of about 6 miles of Interstate Highway. It it patrolled by the local police using radar and laser with both patrol cars and motorcycle cops, along with State Patrol passing our their share of tickets too! They are there everyday at different times of the day. BE CAREFUL!
Unmarked car sits on side street 1 block north of 3rd St E waiting for you to come along. Speed limit is 30mph.
