Turn out on south end of 17th Ave East about 1 mile west of Canturbury Rd. The Shakopee police department hide in here. At night they sit in the median across the street from this location – they are almost always facing east. This is a 40 MPH speed zone.

southbridge Parkway near southbridge Parkway

There is a very, very, very short stoplight at soutbridge parkway and th walmart drive – the shakopee police sit there and wait for people to blow the light – they also lie about their radar readings – there have been many people wrongly stopped at that light – there is not any realistic way to fight this, if you go to court there are 150 people on the same day – a majority of which are there for bogus tickets also – the shakopee police and the city of shakopee are out of control – the city budget is in the red, and they are using the police to try to feed the city coffers

Shakopee Police pull over in the South bound lane of Marschall Road, just south of 17th Avenue, as you pass St. Francis Regional Medical Center. They use laser to gauge speeds of those traveling southbound out of the 40 mph zone and into the 55 mph zone. Oftentimes, the officer is standing outside of his vehicle, on the shoulder or somewhat in the ditch.
