Spicer, Minnesota Speed Traps

Hwy 23 through Spicer is a 4 lane divided highway. The speed limit is 65 coming from the west, and drops to 40 a good distance from town. Law enforcement sits on a side street with no lights and gets you as you slow down into town. As you leave town going east, the speed limit only goes up to 55, not 65 as most people think, and stays 55 until the golf course, when it goes back up to 65. It is a horribly confusing mess, and troopers and deputies sit in the median and basically write tickets at will!
